So I started using Twitter last week. It's pretty interesting, but I usually forget to update frequently and remember only once in a while. Hopefully, I'll get better. One cool thing is that you can text your messages into twitter. You can follow what I'm doing if you like and see what it's like to be an overworked nurse educator.

Hey there, I know we "finished" talking about cloud computing, but I received an email that has an interesting link on the subjet. This reinforced to me the importance of this subject:

Interesting about Twitter. I can't think of why I would need to use it?.....

I think twitter captures a different type of activity than blogging. Rather than processed reflection (as in blogs), "tweets" would provide a more stream-of-consciousness type of chronicle. I anticipate that it will be very useful in the practicum course next semester. It would also likely be interesting for nursing students to use as a journal that keeps track of their clinical activities - good potential there.
